A Message From Dr. Dumas

I feel so very privileged to be here at Shepard Elementary School to serve you and your children.  I have been in education for 15 years and have served as a K, 1st, & 4th grade teacher, an Alabama Reading Initiative reading teacher/coach and an assistant principal for the last five years.  I have a wealth of experiences which will prove to be a great help as I lead this wonderful school this year.  We have many new fabulous faculty and staff members this year and we will feature one each week to let you get to know everyone.
