We are on the air!

Kate Shepard is now live on the Internet with our morning announcements. We have fourth and fifth grade student newscasters. Students from all grades help with the pledge. Our students are working on their writing skills and will soon be adding special interest stories to the broadcast. We stream the announcements live to the classrooms through our cable system. Now, we are very excited to announce the addition of streaming to the Internet through a special portal on the Mobile County website. Parents can join us each morning to see what is going on at Kate Shepard and to see their children on the newscast.

We are so excited about the learning going on in this real-life scenario. Kate Shepard is going places with technology and learning!

Click here for the Portal. Click on the "Search" tab and type "shepard" into the box. Click on Shepard Live Stream. Press "Play". We begin streaming at approximately 8:20 each morning.
