Hooked on Books, not Drugs
Mrs. Carol Otts from the West Regional Branch of Mobile Public Library was our guest reader during our "Hooked on Books, not Drugs" Day of Red Ribbon Week, October 27, 2009. Mrs. Otts read several books to the PreKindergarten classes combined. The students enjoyed all of the books but The Three Billy Goats Gruff was their favorite because Mrs. Otts used the troll puppet as well as engaged the students in some active participation. The students made the sound of each Billy Goat crossing the bridge using their voice and hands. A big thanks to Mrs. Otts for giving of her time to Kate Shepard Students this week. Pictures
