Education

I am a believer in and a product of the Mobile County Public School System!

I attended W.C. Griggs Elementary, Theodore Middle and graduated from Theodore High School.

After graduation, I received my Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy and worked in the field for 3 years.

I decided to make a career change and returned to the University of South Alabama where I earned a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Elementary Education.

I am certified to teach K-6 and Reading K-12.

Bio

Hi! My name is Rebecca Nail and I am a First Grade teacher at Kate Shepard. This is my seventh year here and I am so blessed to work with such an amazing faculty! I was previously the ARI Reading Coach for six years, but circumstances led me back to the classroom. I could not be any more excited about this transition!

I grew up in Mobile and moved to Spanish Fort four years ago.

I am married to the most wonderful, caring and patient man who I am more thankful for each and every day.

I have one beautiful daughter, Maegan, who is 22 - she is my reason for breathing! She lives in Mobile where she attends college. I also have two awesome step-children. Taylor is 20 and a Junior at the University of Alabama. Austin is 15 and a Sophomore at Spanish Fort High School.

I also have 2 four-legged children named Louie and Charlie. They are both miniature Yorkies and are a whopping 5 and 3 pounds. Louie and Charlie keep me company and I can not wait to get home each day to see them and get kisses!

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, shopping and hanging out with my husband and friends watching Florida football - GO GATORS!!
